The Baker Group was engaged by Meander Valley Council under and design and construct contract for works at the Prospect Vale Park Sports Grounds. The existing fields of play were failing to withstand existing usage and drainage requirements and as a result, were being damaged throughout the soccer season. The Baker Group, along with our design partners at SportEng were able to provide a unique solution that would for year-round play.
The Prospect Vale Park Playing surface covered an area of approx. 2Ha. Works under contract included: striping, reshaping, resurfacing, subsurface drainage, a new automated irrigation system, sand mattress, and a 12-15W establishment period.
